Surely, in the name of sanity, UPS or FedEx won't bite this bullet. The BC is looking for a sponsor(s) to fly the Euro contingent of horses, trainers and owners for free. Let's see if one of the Euro or the Saudi airlines line up to sponsor this idiocy.

In my humble opinion, you come to race and take your chances. If you don't want to do that, then keep your A$$ at home. Hell, I would bring a horse if someone will pick up my horses' and my connections tab'. Nothing like a freebie trip to America. This Global Socialism has gotten completely out of control.

I disagree- I want everybody out of my country who is not supposed to be here including the Euros and their "pets"

I think the point is that other international races (Japan, Hong Kong, Dubai) pay freight expenses for horses and humans, and the Breeders Cup folks feel like pikers. I'm not sure how well it would go over for the American breeders who fund the program with foal and stallion nominations for their money to be used to pay expenses for foreign owners.

What about when that guy with Rick's Natural Star drove him across the continent in his two horse trailer? When he stopped to spend the night at a hotel somewhere in the midwest, I think he tied the poor horse to a post or tree for the night.

I think it is good for the psyche and the spirit to be out and about from time to time....As for the horse, well he'll just lock his knees and go to sleep, anywhere is good for them, and I believe the horse may like a little change of scenery as well....:jump:

best.
