For those of you struggling with the Euros entered in the BC, I just noticed that Brisnet is offering "Timeform" for the BC. For those interested, go to Bris' home page, look to the far right for the link to the "Timeform" download page. Once there you'll find a link to an explanation of "Timeform". Very informative, as I've never seen "Timeform" and was completely in the dark about it's usage.

Best of luck Friday and Saturday!

Here are the conversions I do for those that want them...Timeform to Beyer:

These are any horses foreign races in the last 6. Sorry the formatting stinks, this board isn't very good for that. Brown is dirt, blue synthetic, green turf. Bold is within 1/2 furlong of today's race distance.

Thanks much CJ. I've always found Timeform to be the best ratings for the Euros - far better than the Racing Post ratings that the DRF switched to. Now you have to pay a somewhat pricey fee from Brisnet.

Thanks again for providing them with the conversion. I used to subtract 15 from the TF ratings as a quick and dirty conversion DRF method, which worked pretty well. Your method is more sophistcated and probably more accurate.

I'll salute CJ's conversions. My first lesson in them was Invasor, Pimlico Special. I remarked in the War Room how could you come up that one with no info and CJ showed me the info alright!

One of the Win ad You're in races at SA recently - 2 yo? paid $20 of the top converted fig.

Is there anywhere you can find the PP's with Timeform ratings. Bris only gives one Timeform rating for each horse and not a history...I miss them.

Thanks for the ratings CJ!

BRIS and Timeform both have the full cards available for sale. Timeform is in pounds, ouch.

One word of note, the ratings do not match what used to be in DRF. For whatever reason, they made an arbitrary -13 adjustment before putting them in the PPs.

I guess that's what they figure the adjustment is...I'm buying them
