Hi,

I am new to posting, but spend a lot of time on the board learning. I am new to horse racing, and enjoy the sport and the opportunity to place some bets.

I live in Boston, MA and have an account with TVG and TVG channel on my computer.

I am wondering where to play the BC? Should I make a last minute trip to LA? If so, is it too late to get tickets and accomodations?

Or should I play TVG? Another online betting network, or any OTB/Casino nearby that may not be crazy? (you can PM if needed)

I am not particularly a fan of Suffolk Downs...

Looking forward to your thoughts and sharing with you. The winning suggestions get a $2 win bet on me!

Thanks,
Andy

take all the $$$$ you would have spent on plane, hotel and cabs, plus food and drink and play on TVG if you don't like suffolk downs. TVG is also on cable and dish TV in most areas

I live near santa anita your best bet is to bet on tvg, do you have any idea what tickets are I have news for you. STAY HOME AND BET TVG. I think just to walk into the track is $50 not sure but its something outrageous, then you have to consider fighting the crowds, no thanks I will be at home watching it.

This will be the first California Breeder's Cup that I won't be attending, and as someone that revels in the event, I would suggest that you take the money you would have spent on the trip and play from home. The ABC/ESPN coverage will suffice along with your ADW site. No parking lines, which were HORRIBLE in `03, and if you aren't in the Turf Club, Sirona's, or the FrontRunner, your experience will be chaotic, and good luck getting seating in any of those preferred locals.

Andy,

Hard to believe you are seriously contemplating the trip so late. I leave from Boston at 5:00 today, hop on and we'll trade handicapping notes.

Tickets will be easy, unlike airfare and lodging.

Go for it, horse racing is meant to be experienced with all the senses.
