In the second race, there was a mini bridge jumper. The 4,000 six-horse claimer featured a 1/5 shot that got almost $14,000 of the $16,000 bet to show.

The big favorite finished fourth. The show payouts were in the neighborhood of $19.60, $34.80, and $19.60.

Thanks.

I was going to title it "Watch the Golden Gate Bridge Tonight", decided not to do that, then didn't even remember to put the track name in.

That was Russell Baze at odds on. Has to be the worst bet in horse racing.
He'll win 40% of the time & you'll lose 50% of your money.

I doubt if Russell is "hungry" for the show spot.
