2500 points is a regular player. It's only about $85 bet a day.

Not bad for only having to bet a minimum of $2500 for the month. However, I would have thought many more than 300 would have qualified. Also, the lunch seemed a bit pretentious (hoity toity) for this group of handicappers. Certainly many won't be going back for seconds and thirds. ;)

More did qualify, they did RSVPs with tickets (I'll be going btw). All that qualified were allowed to bring a guest too, if I remember right. These were just the number that responded. And if they don't like the food, tough. More for me :) though I have no doubt they will like the menu and it will be consumed.
