This looks like the 1st steps toward a Senior Circuit, just like the Senior PGA....oh no, the Grey Panthers strike again!

I can see it now....the 2012 $750,000 AARP Derby (in Florida, of course) starring...

Pat 'Bless You All' Day

Jerry 'Buy my DVD' Baily

Gary 'Knee Suppliments' Stevens

and Julie 'He Cut Me Off' Krone

I want the 10-20 minutes before the race starting with the post parade and 10 minutes after the race for the ceremony

(who cares about the race. I want to see a 65 year old get on that small saddle.

It would have been great if they could have done a Living Legends pick 4.

Wow Ralph!!!...He was the greatest and my hero as I was growing up on the backside of Woodbine,I was a hotwalker for Duke Campbell and Sandy was just starting to ride. His agent Colin Wick was also a legend around the backside. After years of watching him ride in many places,I finally got my own horse and got him to ride it.That win picture is one of my most coveted pictures ever. God Bless you Sandy...You looked great after all these years!!!

I only started playing the ponies in late 2000............

prior to that as a Kid in the 70's I followed it some with my dad, Secretariat and the triple crown every year, but didn't come back to it until the ole man retired and moved in with me.
