Best Day Ever

I love going to the track always have, not a pro but I think I have pretty good clue.

I took off work yesterday and my brother and I drove to Keeneland.

That in itself makes for a great day, heck a losing day a Keeneland is still a gereat day..Keeneland is everything that is right with horse racing.

Keep in mind I'm a $1-$5 player (recreational player)

Yesterday was even better, I was "en fuego".

Race 1-Had winner (29.80) and exacta ($254.80)

Race 2- Had winner ($6.00) and early DD ($123.60)

Race 4- Had winner ($23.40)

Race 5- Had winner ($5.00)

Race 6-Had Winner ($17.40) Exacta ($68.20) Pick 3 ($539.80)

Race 7- Place ($7.40) missed anoither Pick 3 and really nice Pick 4

Race 8- Had Winner ($15.00), Exacta ($69.20)

Race 9- Had Winner ($14.80), and Late DD ($130.60)

Awesome day and if the :4: wins in Race 7 amazing day

Of course the next time I'll go 0 for 9 and lose $100, but I came home with $1172 of Keeneland's money after bets and beers and burgoo

The trick is to store this day in an easily accessible part of the brain for quick access. We players tend to fill our “RAM” with the negative events and its days like these that should be thought of as often as possible.

A friend of a friend bought the photo of a 6 figure P6 he hit and keeps it on his desk. It’s good for the soul to dwell on the good times as well as learn from the bad.
