Anyone ever read it? It is new and updated for 2008. He's been around quite a while, but I've never read any of his stuff. It sells for $49.95. I like handicapping books, but the price is a bit steep.

If the method is anything like his writings, it will be more generalization than specific.

I bought the original many moons ago and remember not using it much. I don't recall it being as expensive, and it was a printed book. Of course, it didn't include all the "goodies" included here which are not of much use imho.

I've seen that generic wagering calculator around on the net and the dutching program appears to be a demo version of George Green's old Hedgehog from the 80's.

If I recall correctly, one of the first steps, if not the first, was to start with the top 5 or 6 morning lines and apply other eliminations from there.

He did hire a copywriter to put together that marketing letter!

I've known George personally from my Aksarben days when I lived in Omaha back in the 70's & 80's. I remember one day in paticular he had a friend with him and George had programmed one of his programs into a hand held computer thing from those old days and his friend was wagering on exacta's at $200.00 each. He was betting cold 2 horse exacta's and hit 2 of them which I saw personally, one for something like $57.00 and another for like $48.00 he stopped after those hits and walked out that day with over $10,000 profit. This was all from George's program that he had designed and programmed into that little hand held device of his.

The book, etc., has been removed from the merchant site (e-junkie), which isn't a good sign.

All of the "bonus items" are either common sense or obtainable as freeware.

So we are talking about having 3 or 4 races left and his friend would not bet $200 straight exactas on them when he was up $10,000? Too scared to lose $800 and only leave ahead $9,000 for the day? :bang:

If this is a true story, I am nominating him for smartest dumb handicapper!

Yup a true story, I was sitting with them with my twin brother and we were just like dammmmm. This guy just played the horses exactly as they came out on George's little printout and played them cold. He really didn't know a thing about the horses either, I guess the less you know the better it is sometimes huh !!! :)
