BTW, your post on 10/10 on "fresh horses" is certainly something to pay attention to.
I don't have any numbers to back this up, but looking at the payoffs lately, it seems there are a lot of low priced horses missing the board and conversely an unusual number of longshots winning.

We are in week 41 of 2008, and I would be leary of horses with 34 or more starts. It might even explain my annual September slump.:)
