I've heard he is one of the smartest elected official in Washington DC.....something pretty damn hard to find!

I know the guy and he is sharp. The funny thing is the press tries to paint him as a nutjob but if you get a chance to talk to him, he knocks your socks off. He is biparitisian(he p!sses of Senators on both sides).

There is a good article on him from that conservative rag, the San Francisco Chronicle on www.realclearpolitics.com under the health care index. Also there is an article on the same page about why he pissed off the AMA and the Oklahoma med society but voting against the increased payments to doctors for Medicare. (Sorry I can't paste links from this computer)
