Looks like McCain didn't get the talking pt about a recession. If the guy would only shut up and not act desperate, it might not be a close election

Hey John, what recession? I guess Gramm is going to have to tell John to stop whining!

Clueless? People voted for Bush didn't they. Yes, they would vote for McSame. Eseentially, they're voting for the same policies. Trickle down, deregulation, Iraq, tax cuts for the wealthy. Pretty much the same thing.

I hate to sound blasphemous, but you guys still realize none of those think-tanks have officially called a recession yet, have they? And the non-farm payroll monthly numbers don't support a recession. Also GDP (but I know, it's a fake number).

Also, did you read the news? Consumer confidence actually WENT UP!!

I guess CC did not include this week on Wall Street. I also guess that means the number will tank next time out...might be a short term money maker if you play your shorts right.

they do support a recession, just not your father's recession.

confidence nbrs, whatever those mean, were up from a previously revised DOWNWARD figure, as i recall not that it means anything.
this nbr will be revised down , obviously.

hang in there.
