I thought this was an interesting article re the ADW scenario for the upcoming Hawthorne Thoroughbred Meet:

It looks like pretty well open access for all ADW companies, if I read the article correctly. That's good news for us bettors.

After reading the article, I noticed even the Hawthorne Park thoroughbred horsemen see the ADW fee distribution from both the track management's point-of-view, as well as their own. That sure is different than the selfish view like other horsemen groups have, such as the THG.

This could be good news especially since I don't know if SAX will be on my list this fall. I think the last time I actually bet on a race at HAW is when I had the winner over Marquetry.

Some more reasons to think that HAW will be doing it right and should mention that it's a PTC track too.
