This ties into some other post..here are some figures.
7,222 'E' horses returned a loss of but 14% at average win odds of 8.5-1
36,984 'S' HORSES RETURNED A LOSS OF 30% at avergae win odds of 19.09-1
this implies to me that speed (E) horses are under bet
and closers (S) are overbet.
If both type of horses were properly bet, the loss should be appox 18% each.
Of course the horses can be broken down into ,distance, race_types and surface, and track condition....but I'll save that information for my web page.
