From DRF:
Seeking Daylight starts another comeback
Seeking Daylight, who has fractured the cannon bones in both of his front legs in his career, began another comeback Saturday by working three furlongs in 36.60 seconds over Gulfstream's main track.
Seeking Daylight won last year's Grade 2 Brooklyn Handicap by 8 1/4 lengths at Belmont Park. Two days before he was to run in the Suburban Handicap at Belmont, he fractured the cannon bone in his right front leg. At 2, after winning his first two starts, Seeking Daylight suffered a fractured left front cannon bone, an injury that kept him away from the races for 15 months.
Trainer Mark Hennig has no specific race targeted for Seeking Daylight, owned and bred by Edward Evans. He will most likely be ready to return during the Belmont spring meet.
