With Fanny-Freddie (management) losing control , we find rates going down which will free up the housing Ma.rket.
Also, while Some banks held the paper with the higher rates in order to balance their Sheets, these same banks (imo) are the ones hurting, because Now the rates WILL go down.
Result, we have the weak banks (holding the outdated paper) going under And the strong banks gettin stronger, simple.
