870 yards for quarterhorses,maiden claiming,claiming price $2500.Not exactly starting at the top,was it?The fact that this old mare only payed $14 and change might have given some kind of clue.This has to be a record,even considering all breeds that race.Even the chatterboxes on TVG sounded shocked and gave it a lot of mention.
