Looks like the Russkies are getting a bit friskier these days with the armor and other sorts of weaponry.

The cold war thaw lasted a little while in historical terms, time to get it going again. Russia could be a big player in the ME - especially if they feel that the US of A is trying to control the oil - and drive down the prices of their big export.

There are hundreds of thousands of Russians that spent their early lives fearing and hating the West.Even after the 17 years since the crumbling of the Evil Empire,they have not changed their views,and many of them are in positions of power.The old guard KGB crowd still pretty much runs things in Moscow.Putin is number one example.
