An owner I know who has some horses racing at Monmouth says it looks like it could be two weeks. With the rains we are expecting here, who knows?

I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this before.
This will be costly.

Are worms similar to grubs, the scourge of suburban lawns?

These worms have devastated a farm in Charlton, NY outside of Saratoga Springs. It was on the television news in the Albany market on Tuesday night. NYRA has also discovered these worms infesting the Saratoga Turf Courses and is currently in the process of attempting to combat the infestation.

DRRF reports today that the army worms are gone and the turf course at Mth will be used only on weekends for a couple of weeks to allow it time to recover. This begs two questions:
1. If the army worms were so quickly defeated, were they Iragi-army worms?
2. If I call my boss and tell him I have worms, will he give me two weeks off to recover?
