September 27th, I'm there! The only remaining member of the 2007 Golden Quadrumvirate of Street Sense, Rags To Riches, Hard Spun and Curlin. There won't be many more opportunities to see Curlin, if any. Perhaps this might dispel the rumor of a Goodwood appearence as a prep for a possible start in the BC Classic. Or, maybe they'll fly him out west to train on the Pro-Ride after the JCGC to see how he moves over it and then make a decision between the Classic and the November festivities on the Isle of Honshu.

A surprise announcement from the boys at IEAH about a sudden change in plans to run Brownie in the JCGC would be most welcome......

I think that properly should be "quadrumequate" or something close to that.

Here is BB's big mouth connections big chance.
JCG to BC. The cahmpioin route.

OR is the big champ still pointing to a minor turf race against nothing?

Does this mean Curlin's connections have ruled out the Breeders' Cup (again)? Not too long ago they mentioned the Goodwood as a possible prep if they intended to run in the BC. Since they aren't running in the Goodwood, I suppose it's safe to assume the BC is a no go again....

My understanding is Jess Jackson will not run Curlin in the BC
due to the synthetic surface, which makes some sense based on his
lack luster performance on the turf.

BB on the other hand, should love the turf based upon his intial
races and the fact he may be physical issues running on dirt.

Therefore, it appears doubtful these two will meet this year, unless,
(hopefully never) these owners elect to have a match race
