IT was an incredible streak. Hard to believe it was possible. Any one out there know if a thoroughbred jockey ever won 8 in a row?

We had a jock at FL years ago that won I think 7 in a row-maybe 8. Don't remember his name, but i think it might have been Ron?
Might have been replacement riders during a strike-the 70's are still hazy <G>

Day won 8 race at Arlington on a 9 race card in the late 80s.I don't remember if they were in a row.
