Pinnacle, Wed. Aug 27, Race #1

Was reading the chart, regarding #2 Willstep -- the Equibase chart states "WILLSTEP stumbled at the start, then jumped the rail and crashed into a shed."

Was anyone there? Is the horse & rider okay?

I was there. Horse was O.K. Jock won the next race (was tossed when horse stumbled at gate, not involved with the shed). However there was a family of four or five in the shed. A mother and at least three youngsters. A broken arm and a concussion the extent of the injuries, at least that is what track officials stated. It was a MIRACLE (seriously) nobody was killed. The shed was a clocker/outrider shed.
