Yeah...

You're usually leaving yourself wide open when you put the 3-5 third. But that one actually ran just a bit better than I expected. The #2 horse (4th) ran a little slower.

As for the #5 horse (2nd), she was the only one where I didn't use the "2nd back" race in my handicapping. For some reason, I dug a little deeper. Had I used the "2nd back" it puts her a head back of the winner.

Yeah, even though these downhill races are screwy.

I've noticed recently that fit horses that are cutting back in distance have been doing well on this course. So you're #6 could be a good play.

Finally got that 2nd. But didn’t plan for it happen the way it did.
