Race 1 - #1 Soupy (3-1) Is going well for new/old trainer John Saddler. Will be forwardly placed today in a race without much pace and will be tough to deny under jockey Tyler Baze.
Race 5 - #11 Gold Star Status (15-1) Vastly improved for new trainer Peter Eurton as he blasted home in 29.2 in his last race and Eurton wins at a 28% clip with maiden winners last out. This race is wide open and looks to have enough speed signed up to set up his wicked late kick under jockey Michael Baze.
Race 7 - #7 Dearest Trickski (7/2) She is speed in a field without much. She has shown that she the ability to beat this bunch and does not generally get much respect at the windows. Mike Smith is undefeated on her and Saddler is having another great meet.
Race 9 - #1 Porto Santo (20-1) Makes his second start off the long layoff for recently red hot trainer Julio Cannani (4 for 4 over the turf since Wed.). This one was shut off in the stretch in his last as he was moving ahead of runner up finisher Awesome Gem. This guy has a ton of ability and he has been his own worst enemy. With a clean trip he is this good.
Race 11 - #3 Banner Lodge (9/2) Has been showing speed going long in has last couple and now cuts back to 7 furlongs, which is good. He has been freshened up by Saddler and is working well in the mornings. Don't think we get 9/2 on this one, but I think he will be tough to deny today.
