A horse jumped over the paddock fence. Is everyone ok?

Maybe he was prepping for a steeplechase.

It was the 6, Cheering, in the 6th. I think she would have been last but was a scratch. Jan started screaming "Everyone look out!" so it was a little bit alarming.

The OTB channel in NY immediately cut off the visual and audio of the area after that. I wanted to see what was going on. They came back to it as soon everything was OK.

Thats when I posted. There was screaming and then the OTB channel cut away. Its kind of scary as the area around the paddock is crowded with families.

Cheering reared Johnny twice in paddock, the second time flipped over and hit herself on the fence on the way down (it was another horse I was thinking about that bolted and caught) But Cheering was moved into a back stall and seemed to be walking okay, then scratched. Dont' know though, after Endogenous poor thing died after flipped over a few years ago, but she hit her head on cement.

She broke the fence and ran through it according to Timesunion entry:

The horse was probably spooked by the giant NetsJets tent that blocks out the skyline in the paddock. Has that tent been up the entire meet? NYRA has turned the once beautiful paddock into a what now resembles a trailer park. I couldn't believe they put that ugly tent in the middle of the paddock.

Probably. In my experience nitwits will put things out that continually spook horses.
