Subject : REVISED DIRECTIVE 07-08 ON ANABOLIC STEROIDS
Effective Friday, August 22, 2008, any horse administered anabolic steroids on this date or thereafter will be placed on the CHRB Veterinarian’s List for a minimum of 30 days.

If you're not familar with the Vet's List concept in Calif, while your horse is on a Vet's list, it does not race.
