Mohawk Race 5 - 4 scratches!

What happened at Mohawk for race 5 tonight? (Aug 16th) There were 4 scratches. I was watching the tote board, and the scratches must have happened late.

[The Bit]

The scratches were due to interference by geese if you can believe that. They apparently flew across the backstretch near the quarter pole causing horses to break and impede some others.

I had the winner who went from 5-1 to 1-1 after the scratches.
