It has been raining cats and dogs for the entire meet. Tom does a good job of bringing enthusiasm to the crowd.

To tell you the truth, in the crown for a few days earlier in the week, couldn't hear a call or anything.....other than thunder!

The speakers in the tent were dead. They are fixed now ... you can come back.

And, hopefully, shipped to another country. I've heard enough of that for one lifetime.

WHAT?! You don't like the call? Heathen!

What's not to like about an announcer calling attention to himself, and not the race? Who cares how annoyed those players who bet another horse in the race are? It's all about Tom! Isn't he terrific? He's such a wit.

If his calls annoy you because your money is on another horse, you're in the wrong game...

I'm surprised he didn't lose his voice, but he was fine today.

It doesn't, I don't play NY. I only hear Durkin (thankfully) when others nearby are watching. But thanks for the tip.

Always encouraging creative thought; Nephew was in town.

He slapped this together using Adobe Audition/Premiere for the first time @ 11 years old:
(He had to leave before he could finish the vid)
