Easy to Say No. The rider made this one lengths better today at the SPA,

He rivals Laffit in his ability......Always moves them up in the Winter at the Big A

When he does that windmill wind-up, you know you're getting an honest ride.

In a nose to nose stretch drive, Dominquez is the strongest finisher among the NY jocks ...except yesterday against Albarado in the third... who won by a "nostril". Almost a dead heat.

It is amazing how many 0 for 15s or 1 for 32s he wins with. i think jockeys are way overrated , but this guy could get the most of his mounts. i like the way he breaks away from the pony and gives his horse a real strong warmup. some of these horses need that instead of just walking around.

He's got a long way to go to approach Laffit.

The best jocks consistently put horses in a position to win. This guy often has them in a position where it is impossible for them to hit the board.

Ask Bobby Frankel how many big races he's cost him.

I rank him as the best North American jockey on the lead in a turf route.

In general, Dominguez is a solid jockey with good intelligence.

used to use this guy exclusively till he came to
his senses. He made the mistake last week of
legging him up on an undefeated turfer, needless
to say he is no longer undefeated
RD is a very competant rider with the caveat that
he want to be a hero at all cost.
It looks to the untrained eye that he is is
great because he is winning these close finishes,
only problem is he should be lengths better on those.
I bet him and pray to god the hole he is determined to find
opens up.

I didnt know you are paid anymore if you win by a nose or 10 lengths? Many riders "ease up" on the horse once they have the win measured.
