BADGE OF SILVER will go out for the lead early, but will be challenged (for once) by FUNNY CIDE . I expect KAFWAIN ,GOHALO ,LONE STAR SKY , and WINNING FANS to follow those two as they set quick fractions. Around the turn, BADGE OF SILVER will poke a head in front as the other pacesetter tries to keep up. A few lengths behind, KAFWAIN will start to move. As they hit the quarter pole, "Silver" will be ahead by a length, but that won't last. KAFWAIN will have rallied to challenge, and the two favorites will duel. After a true battle the Baffert trainee will move ahead and win by a measured length in 1:43 1/5. BADGE OF SILVER is a strong second, with FUNNY CIDE, GOHALO, AND LONE STAR SKY battling for third.
