I seriously have not used Phonebet in 5 years. I decided today I would start, and what do you know, it sucked. It is down again now.

I used Philly when I was in Las Vegas, because it was the only legal service that allows phone betting from Nevada and carries almost all tracks (Leroys and Coast Resorts limit betting to whatever the disseminator carries). Now that I live in a "wager-friendly" state, I'm going with PTC and probably TwinSpires and YouBet.

I have read it was the whole tote system at Philly Park, not just Phonebet.

Yes, you are correct, everything went down for about an hour, and it was on and off all day long. When it goes down you can usually call in and make a bet, but all the computers were down when you called in.

Phone bet has been good for me, it is just one of those things I guess
