You can definitely do it. Eat just half your regular portion of your meal, put the rest aside, allow yourself a bite or two in a half hour or so and you'll see, you'll get in the habit of eating smaller portions. Another thing I do sometimes is eating standing up at the counter, but this isn't practical for many of you!!

Yeah. Definitely not practical for some of us. Our bellies are so big we can't get close enough to the counter. :lol:

Seriously, though... that's good advice. I'll try it!

Ha! I just do it because I'm just so hopelessly bad at eating slow, so if it's on the counter away from the TV then I'm better off. Mom would feed the kids at 5:00 and we ate as fast as possible, ran to the frig and wiped our mouths with a dish towel and raced out to play softball. That's when it all started!
