We will be deejaying an outdoor block party tomorrow afternoon hoping the rain holds off and the same of Saratoga. Friday was a profitable day for us with Halton's win the 5th to the tune of $ 11.80.
Thus far, based on $ 2 win bets and $ 1 exactas, here is our tally:
Wagered: $ 161.00
Returned: $ 173.30
Profit: $ 12.30
Return on Investment: + .08 or 8%
RACE 2: A 6.5 F two year old race. Gotta love those Mott and Zito firsters. # 1 TUFAO / # 1A POWERCHORD go for Sir Mott and # 6 NOWHERE TO HIDE (Vindication is 19% as a sire for first out) debuts for Zito.
PLAY: Let’s go for odds of 4/1 and up on the # 1/1a and # 6 for a win bet.

RACE 6: There is a distinct possibility of rain throughout the card and if this race is sent to the dirt, we like a few if they get in . # 6 STOLIATSIROS moves up from an open maiden claimer on the dirt to a state-bred MSW. The wet breeding of Crafty Prospector is superb. Welcome back Mr. Migliore. # 9 CAN’T BUY LOVE would have liked to see more speed with the addition of blinkers last out. But Tagg has this horse well-spotted and can transfer with success to a wet track. # 14 FORT MCCOY is waiting to enter and I think would love a wet track. Has early speed and should adapt to moisture.

RACE 7 : (Grass only) # 3 HIDDEN GLANCE comes off a lengthy rest for Neil Howard. But this is the kind of race where he is great in preparing his charge. # 4 VISION OF SUNRISE is 4 for 4 in the money at this distance. Encountered trouble in his last two starts. May be a cut under on the ability level but Bush seems to get some huge prices.
PLAY : Win bets on # 3 and 4 if we get odds of 5/1 or higher.

RACE 10: Let’s play upsetter in the Grade 1 TEST. # 2 PALANKA CITY. Barclay Tagg takes over the training duties and this filly one her first graded stakes last out. Is improving, but needs to take it up a huge bit to topple # 6 INDIAN BLESSING.
Play: Win bet on # 2 at odds of 4/1 and higher.
