I need info on Independant George. I have chatters on other forums that do not believe there is a horse with this name. And google does not come up with anything on him. Can anyone help with links or something? Thanks

Try "Independent George" along with either "horse" or "thoroughbred" on Google. Several hits come up. (Check the spelling, though.)

One of the recent ESPN broadcasts had an interview with two of the owners of Independent George and were asked about the name. Yep, it was from George Castansa's character on Sienfeld. Too bad your fellow posters on the other boards didn't see that segment.

He's trained by Graham Motion, not George Weaver. And he's
one of my favorite horses, he's very tough when he runs at Delaware Park.

It will never work. Hollywood already has the movie about "nothing" market cornered. 99% of what comes out today qualifies for that category.
