Did anybody see what Prado did in the Fleet Indian today? Castellano either broke the rein and/or lost his whip during the race aboard Precise Lady. It looks like Prado was able to retrieve Castellano's whip and hand it back to him! Did anybody else see this and know any more details?

Prado retrieved the whip and handed it back to Castellano all during the running of the race.

Personally, I think it was a stupid move. Why would you give your competitor a chance when they had butterfingers? They drop the whip, it's their problem. He's supposed to beat Castellano, not help him win a race. I don't view this as "good sportsmanship" either. He "helped" him for a reason.;)

it looked to me that prado helped him get the right rein back, not the whip.

Victor reached over with his whip and flipped the rein back up where the other rider could grab it.

Pretty smooth move.

Yes, it was the rein. You can see it dangle earlier in the video.

Going by the above posts, it was originally the whip that he handed back. If it was the rein, then very good for Prado.
