Your Town

Heard a corny number by a couple of country cats that struck. Got me to thinkin' about "my town" and how proud I am to be living in such a place. Folk are kind & gentle for the most part. Fought through troubled days of fires & what not, like comrades. Weather is an almost non-issue, spectacular at any given moment. It's the end of the US (as you know it) and it's a pretty keen town. It's nice to like where you live.

Canandaigua...once a stop on the underground railroad, now the last stop for the witness protection program. This is the city pier...many a races have been doped out over breakfast on that table in the background. Many a losing ticket washed down with a cold Labat's on that very bench.
