Tomcito, third to Big Brown in the Florida Derby, had some congestion on Sunday morning and was declared from the race, trainer Dante Zanelli Jr. said. Zanelli said that the owner, Jet Set Racing Stable, was likely to move the horse to another New York-based trainer and Zanelli would return to his Lexington, Ky., base.

I remember this now. Has anything been announced since June and the Belmont. Who is the new trainer? Just curious.

Last I heard he was pulling carts filled with veggies in Peru.

I just did a work-out search at the DRF site. Tomcito has not worked out on a North American track since 5/28/08 (before the Belmont.) Also, nothing comes up on a Google news search. Maybe he is still recovering from the injury that kept him out of the Belmont :confused:
