May I refer you to the last race of the day at Delmar. A relatively obscure
get away race for Maiden Fillies. I took due note of the fact that a horse
called BURNT was the Morning Line favorite - and she did receive about
$ 15,000 dollars on the opening click...to Show .. yet :eek: :confused:
The betting continued until the horses were in the gate. Here are the final
figures. Bobby Frankel's girl had taken $118,000 to win, $48,000 to place and
$ 18,000 to Show.
The name of the horse says it all. Sadly .. Off the board. The thing is
she was a Beaten Favorite the last 2 races and once before that :bang:
As Yogi said: " You can observe a lot by watching. " My Tote Board
adventure had come to an end. I shall sumbit my thoughts in due course.

You are wrong - Burnt finished third - not off the board. I love this horse - always a bridesmaid and always gets bet. Just keyed her in second and third in a bunch of tris with 4 or 5 horses. Nice tri. Felt bad for the bus driver that singled her in his $64 live pick 6 ticket and was featured on TVG. That horse keeps breaking hearts.

Gosh Menifee - I was really wrong. Oh no not that. It is the first time. Thank
you for bringing it to my attention. I am forever in your debt. Is there anything I can do - to make up for the very serious blunder that I made.
Please check all of my posts. I don't want to ever ever make a mistake..
especially like the mistake I made in my posting up above. Yea though I walk
through the valley of mistakes, I shall fear no evil.
Can I have A Amen. Put your hands on the monitor. Let us pray.
