Very interesting....but as for the "future" the same was said for the veer, for the run & shoot, and for just about any other innovative system...the one major aspect of this type of offense in terms of its relationship to big time ncaa football and nfl football is that the value of the QB at those levels is so much greater than at lower levels that it becomes difficult to expose a QB in this type of offense. Tim Tebow is a great QB and a very unique individual but it was clear that his performance decayed over the course of the year and I will attribute that to the physical load that his style of offense required from him.....

I've seen this type of offense before....a local HS tried something similar a couple of years ago. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't...

These gimmicky offenses seem to be used often to mask an inherent weakness. In this case, its a high school playing primarily against schools with larger enrollments. In college football, the wishbone has that effect. The service academies love to use the wishbone because they know they are smaller and slower than the vast majority of D-1 schools.
