good call, but wondering if you need to go 5 deep, why don't you just bet your horse to place?
i have watched you, and i think you pick em pretty damn good. maybe its just me, i have never had any luck with tricks.

lamboguy,
Your probally right from a money management stand piont. I must admit though, I have hit some big ones by wheeling my key with several others. My bigest tickets have been tri's where I find one good key for 1st and 2nd and wheel him with 3-4 other choices for 2nd or 3rd and ALL. Last year on one Saturday at Hazel I hit two 4500.00+ tri's at hollywood with 45-1 for one and 50-1 for the other. I had no idea who was going to win. Just knew my keys would be in the money. My key has to be 8-1 or higher when I do this.
When my bank roll is low I do play that way. And sometimes I get gutsy and play my pick with only 1 or 2 horses.
