the section that shows his workout has been deleted, I don't think I mixed him up with another horse, 3 horses at the distance, which they did not list. Maybe I was seeing things....

Yeah, me too... if he worked from the gate you'd think they'd have 'B-G' ??

5F Breezing SGAFUTWK ?

I left out the question mark

I am always a little skeptical of workouts...........but I bet there were a hundred pairs of binoculars on this guy. Anybody on this board see it???

I'm pretty sure that you can not breeze out of the gate- I believe the horse does one or the other i.e gate or breeze,in addition to a hand work. Then again i've been wrong before and am sure I will be corrected if wrong.

Lookie, Evening Attire has him beat. I hope EA is geering up for a Spa appearance, looks to be.

I know its not the most recent but at the end of the article, Iavarone said Big Brown will probably be pointed toward the Aug. 3 Haskell Invitational at New Jersey's Monmouth Park as a prep race for the Aug. 23 Travers Stakes. He is not contemplating a jockey change

Just read the EA story...great work, they say he's doing fantastic and look for a huge effort from the old man...only concern Pat K has is the heat & humidity...and maybe Barcola.
I'll be screaming my head off for EA:jump: to win!!!

Thanks for posting, Stevie B !!

Everyone was ready to throw BB to the wolves after his first breeze back, I figured Dutrow was in no hurry to work him fast, just letting the horse find his legs again...I'm thrilled about this and can't wait for the Haskell... sweet revenge:)
It does look like they've invited 33 really nice horses for the race...and they'll all be gunnin' for the big brown hoss. Kent D....don't fail me now ;)

Yea, well we will see. I think the horse really needs to win, and be somewhat impressive in doing so. Anyway you look at BB, people will not remember him as a Derby and Preakness winner, but the Belmont debacle will be his legacy I think, and his crew.

A big win and some other good things down the road will change that.

I'm not so sure about being remembered only for his Belmont performance . Only a handful of horses over the years raced without having at least one bad day . Even a really bad day shouldn't preclude success overall , or being remembered for the good times . This was a strange race that's still not fully understood .
I beleive the jury is still out on BB . :)

I doubt we'll ever know exactly what happened in the Belmont, besides it being a fiasco...everything that could go wrong...did.
I beleive Stevie B is right, though, BB has to win the Haskell...or if he gets beat, it'll have to be close...but, toss out his 'bad day', and he's still the best of the bunch.
