M 2 includes M1, so her's my short define.

M 2 = the savings, mutuels, assets less IRA's , of the people of the USA.

So to say that M 2 is up by my figures (so give or take a few), from 2001 till 2008,
by 70% is to say "Who Could Ask For Anything More"?

M2 went up $1,587 during the 90s

M2 went up $2714 in the last 7 years.:eek:

Too bad Greenspan helped get rid of M3 - that way, we'd be able to tell if the govt was just printing a bunch of money to bury reality...

But then again, we really didn't need another govt statistic and we can lay off those statisticians and save some tax $$$!

Welp, from what your posters are saying and from what the gov says, we can still come accross with the M3.

From what i am saying, and also your post say, M2 is up about 7o% from the late 90s.
Got to be a good sign for the USA overall.

M2 being, retirement funds, savings ect.

gold is going to $1200 this year. heating oil will be real expensive. the m's are out of whack. if you have any money convert it into hard assets like meltals, before the money you have evaporates in front of your own eyes!!
