Wanted to alert you guys of bridge jumper special. Make some show bets against the 7 in the rare case he runs out. *edit* never mind the show pools are not getting as big as I thought they would on the 7. Hopefully late show money will come in on him.

The real way to bet this situation is
100.00 on the horse with 90+ percent of the show pool and 2.00 on the rest.
invested 114.00 return 111.20.
With rebates which I know little about would probably drop the loss even further. Now when he blows the payoffs go thru the roof and you got three of them with little to no loss exposure.prices like 100.00 to show x3.And they blow about 10%of the time.

Only a 3% rebate would have netted you some pennies.
Some shops don't rebate on payoffs of $2.20 or less.
I always use just one horse against ANY negative show pool.
The only exceptions are when entries go negative or my horse is negative.
The advantage is small but beats the hell out of a disadvantage.

good luck

This won't work; thanks to net pool pricing you don't see the monster triple-digit prices like you used to. I've seen several races where the huge chalk ran out and the show payoffs were around $35 each. Case in point: This year's TB Derby with an enormous chalk in War Pass; the show prices were $25.20, $27.80 and $76.40, which totals only $129.40.
