Very sad news. He was a hell of a race horse and doing well at stud...such a gorgeous son of Slew. Damned Colic kills too many horses.
:(
RIP

It's a shame. He was doing well at stud and never really got a chance to prove himself on the track. :(

I always had a soft spot in my heart for this horse. Very sad to hear he is dead at such an early age. RIP....

The first time I heard his name, I fell in love...what a great name for a big black horse, then he started kicking butt on the track...just looking at him as a stallion you could see Slew all over him.
I feel very sad for his connections. We have got to find a way of saving horses that get colic....I don't know which one kills more horses, before their time, Colic or Laminitus.
Colic killed my beloved Foolish Pleasure, just when his life was as good as it gets...surrounded by folks that loved him and plenty of mares & foals to hang out with.
CRAP!!

I have never ever seen a horse that looked so good in the post parade than he did on this day...........at least via Television........

Vindication was one of the most gorgeous physical specimens I've ever seen in person. I got to meet him at Hill 'N Dale, when he was in the stud for just a year. They brought him in to clean him up, and covered with mud, he was still stunning. Great personality. Loved to have his tongue pulled!
RIP, Vindy.

Oh gosh...I cannot remember the race he won but when they came around the turn he so looked like his daddy....I really wanted to see him on the TC trail. He had excitement all over him.
