Favorites : Male versus Female It always seems to me that the
Females don't do as well . But I admit - I haven't done all of the
work that is necessary to prove it :jump:

NYRA circuit Females winning favs 37% Males 35%

Over the past 12 months at all North American tracks:

Males: 34.28%
Females: 34.85%

anecdotal: It seems tough as hell to beat some of the female 6f-mile speed, even when they seem a little cheap.
The same type of males I would play against. Maybe it's just that angle, and maybe it's just a perception?

Does anyone have it broken down by odds, like favs @ 1/1 or less vs. more than 1/1? Rule of thumb has always been, as far as I know, 1/1 or less win around 50% and those favs at more than 1/1 win around 33%. I've never seen these broken out by sex of the favs.
