Need a fourth choice - None of the Above.

Voting only legitimizes the bone they throw us.

Overheard at the Constitutional Convenetion...

"Ben, the people demand the right o vote. What shall we do?"
"Give it to them. Then give them two butt cheeks to choose between every election!"
"Franklin, you card......outstanding!

try posting anything negative about obama on a google site, your post will imediately get wiped out.

this is one nasty election and it is taking place on the internet.

if obama don't get the young people to go out and vote, then he gets burried.
if he does, he actually might win.

personally, i am a mccain fan, i realise how important this election is and i am trying to get people to come out and vote in my state mass. if mccain wins this state, and he has a small shot at it, it sends a message that you cannot fool the public.

mass voted for reagun, and i think mccain has a shot this time against the competition. i urge you guys that think the same way as myself to help the cause.

McCain has no shot at Massachusetts, he will not even make a single campaign stop here. Outside of Obama's home state, Massachusetts is a close second in 'its over". Obama's 60-31 in Illionois, He's 53-30 in Massachusetts. He won't come here, he won't spend a single dollar here. Niether will Obama, no need.

Obama took the lead in Montana! this weekend, and he increased his electoral college margin to a point where its ialmost insurmountable. Obama has 310 electoral and McCain has 235. That's what? About a 28% lead?

Barak Obama is a rank amatuer , He sympathizes with Black Militants, and other fringe people. That may not make him anything like them, but it will not stop him from being the next president. And its not because people hate Bush or Iraq, its has much to do with the quallity of Americans who crawled out of holes when Bush was elected. Suddenly the most twisted and unattractive Americans felt comfortable coming out their holes.

Americans want neo-conservatives back in your holes. They are embarrassed and ashamed to share a country with you. They desperately want you to go away.

Every time Ralph, PA, Boxcar, MarshallBennet make a post its another 25 votes for Obama. There's plenty more but those names give you the general idea. Its you folks that are costing McCain the election. If you want to win you need to keep quiet until after the elections. America does'nt want much to do with the likes of your type.

Barring the unknown, Obama's your next prez. In every poll he's up from 5% to 12% and he is sitting on a MOUNTAIN of money.

Its over.

Up until now, it's been nothing but positive press and positive vibes for Obama...this Democratic Party honeymoon will be over in due time, and then this rank amateur, Black Militant, fringe sympathizer (as you label him) will have people shaking their heads, mumbling "what the hell was I thinking there for a moment?"

All that's needed is a little education.

I get the feeling that McCain is biding his time and IF he is, he is being really smart. If he tips his hand, obama has time to react/swerve/back-track whatever, but if mccain waits until sept and plays it right, the dems wont know what hit them. The closer to the election that he goes on the attack the more impact it will have. Having said all that, I am not a mccain supporter ,, guess i think he is the lesser of 2 evils, but would still vote for "none of the above". just a thought rbj

Take two states away from Hillary.
Count the delegates as halves and award himself some who did not vote for him.
Add seven states for himself.

SING Hokey Pokey

You take two states out,

Then add seven new states and shake them in and out,

The choice is between two men who both want power and relish power. Either one will use it to the fullest in the blind and arrogant belief that he is a leftist savior in one case and a phony conservative in the other.Eiither one will surely surprise us in many dreadful ways, and that will be that. If Obama is elected....... More of our rights will be legislated away.

Let me say that I have voted Republican and Democrat.

However, right now, I'm a "anyone but Bush" voter.

The assault to our civil liberties under Bush has been horrendous.

As for *other* candidates....Bob Barr the "fake" libertarian (he has changed almost everything he ever was "against" in the past, to being "for" it now; )Nadar is a wasted vote, always was; Ron Paul, like his other-end-of-the-spectrum Denis Kucinich is at least a *real* Libertarian. One is a right Libertarian, the other a Left Libertarian. (keeping it simple here). Obviously, the electorate wasn't interested in Dr. Paul. I personally liked some of the stuff he said. Not all of it.

Most of my friends "tell me" that I'm a closet Libertarian, I dunno. I am fiscally conservative and socially progressive, but all those labels don't mean anything anymore, given that Bush seems to spend as much money as any Democrat has. I say socially progressive because I really don't care to peek in other people's windows to see what they are doing in bed at night, etc.

I probably won't continue to talk politics here.......quite frankly, some of you get pretty......um.......ugly with each other. I think it's sort of odd to *hate* somebody just because of their politics. And some of these posts seem pretty close to real hate. As Americans, we are all given the right to one vote, it's one of the most valuable and wonderful things about our nation....freedom to give an opinion and not be thrown in jail for it. Becuase of that, I very much value and respect everyone's right to a political opinion, even if I don't agree with it. I certainly don't feel that voting for one candidate over another makes anyone a horrible person, does it?

I will not make my decision about who to vote for until their running mates are chosen. That's because I don't like McCain or Obama.....either of them.......on their *own*. Who they surround themselves with will help me decide. I disagree with both of them about 50% on almost everything!

WT,

You are in good company, as I know math whizzes (honest) under the same misconception, but the fact remains that NO vote is wasted; or, to restate it, EVERY vote, per se, is wasted. A single vote by itself does next to nothing, and therefore cannot be reduced to a more wasteful state.

Now, if you mean that Nader is a wasted vote in the sense of "a waste of space" or "human waste product," that's different.

Too Fit to Be President?
Facing an Overweight Electorate,
Barack Obama Might Find
Low Body Fat a Drawback
By AMY CHOZICK
August 1, 2008; Page W1

Speaking to donors at a San Diego fund-raiser last month, Barack Obama reassured the crowd that he wouldn't give in to Republican tactics to throw his candidacy off track.

"Listen, I'm skinny but I'm tough," Sen. Obama said.

But in a nation in which 66% of the voting-age population is overweight and 32% is obese, could Sen. Obama's skinniness be a liability? Despite his visits to waffle houses, ice-cream parlors and greasy-spoon diners around the country, his slim physique just might have some Americans wondering whether he is truly like them.

Gee wiz, you've said quite a lot here. i started and stopped several times to answer your post/ actually to ask about your post.

To give an example, you have me thinkling, "how can one be a left or right Libertarian"? I am very much a LiBertarian. I lean rightly when i choose, i think a right winger is closer to a Libertarian way.

Let me add, in no way negatory, i'm thinking that you are very young and that you are thinking obviously young thoughts, which happens to be real life,, IMO.

I think, IMO, that frustration comes about when anyone makes a point and this may appear as "hate", but i'm not at all sure that the appearance of "hate" is real.
