I'm looking for a program that will help me construct a par time chart that is compatible with BRIS/TSN data files.

Anyone here familiar with any such program?

ALL-Ways program just can do that: / start / print / pars / enter track code and bingo
but you have to have some data - races in there
good luck

If you're going to use AllWays to do it, you better be willing to spend mucho bucks for a bunch of AllWays data files, like $14 per racecard, unless you are a gold or silver Bris member.

I'm sure someone here has created par times charts from Bris data but they probably wouldn't want to give it out for free.

I'd advise against Allways data files from a financial standpoint. Not sure if you already have a bunch of TSN/BRIS data files or not, but if you don't mind a little "elbow grease", I'd suggest getting Infotran from here:

http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/dynamic.cgi?page=utils
And Simple File Join from here:
http://www.peretek.com/sfj.php

To use Infotran, you make a Control File which specifies which field numbers to pull from the data file (so you can get class, final time of winner, track, condition, etc.) to make a new comma delimited file. If you happen to have the latest Excel, then you don't need this as it can accommodate all of the columns found in a file.
Simple File Join is used to combine a bunch of data files into one big one (a big time saver so you don't have to run Infotran for every data file).

This is the procedure I use to keep a database of QH race final times for pars.

Or fork out a few bucks and get the HorseStreet pars.

Best of luck! :)
