I'm surprised no one has posted about the racing on June 28th...especially the Gold Cup and Mother Goose...
I'm shocked there are only 4 fillies in the Mother Goose...what's with that? Scared of Proud Spell? She should win for fun tomorrow, but it's pathetic they couldn't get a few more fillies in the gate:
Proud Spell
Hansa
Never retreat
Music Note

The Suburban sure ain't what it used to be...an outstanding race, but, what the hell...
Merchant Marine (the Giant Killer)
AP Arrow
Hunting (Shug)
Naughty New Yorker (Pat was a friend of mine way back when)

American Inv...
Daytona
Storm Military
Worldy

A Gleam...(this one looks exciting)
Tiz Elemental
Intangaroo
Magnifcience (she's been off, so may need this)
Dearest Trickski
Romance is Diane

Gold Cup... (Hard one to pick...should be a great race, even without Lava Man)
Tiago (I love Mike Smith & Sherrifs)
Heatseeker
Perfect Drift (love him)
Go Between

Tah-Dah...I know there are a few other good ones tomorrow...but these are the ones I care about the most.

Good luck :jump: to all you players!!!

Chalky, but true:

Daytona will win. Go Between almost certainly will win. Magnificience should win, although personally I will root for Gary Sherlock's double Grade 1 victress Intangaroo, just because he's a mensch.

O.K. that didn't come out as planned. LOL :) The Cleveland Gold Cup is going to be a great wagering opportunity. I'll try Kid's Prize on the bottom at a big number.

Thanks for highlighting this one Marlin. I'm bringing an extra roll of dimes for this one.

Proud Spell - 4 horse field and she bounces off everyone at least once!!!!
Good thing there weren't 5 horses - she would have been over the rail.

1-2........ran like Gilligan!

Well... not like I excpected :faint:

I can't get over the Mother Goose...I mean, 4 horses and they couldn't stay outta each other's way...give me a break...what WAS that:confused: Maybe if there'd been a full field the best filly would have won...Proud Spell.
Suburban was, well, kinda  Frost Giant??
Daytona...I guess he wasn't feeling as good as his connections thought...they were not going to enter him, but did because he was feeling so good...NOT!!
I love Mike Smith...and he & Dearesrt Trickski sure looked good...I think it would have been a hell of a stretch run if Magnificience hadn't blown the break...with her long strides eatin' up the ground...she almost got there and I can't wait to see her run again...she ran one hell of a race. I was bummed that Tiz Elemental didn't run much and what happened to Intangaroo...hope she came home fine.
The Gold Cup was a bust for me...maybe it's time for them to retire Perfect DRift, despite his being too full of energy at the farm...I'm sure they'll make the right decision for him, he just didn't show anything at all...and niether did Tiago, which really sruprised me big time... I never even looked at Mast Track...Bobby F knew what he was doing with him, trainer,owner,breeder...DUH, why didn't I see that comin'???
