By a 5-4 margin the Supreme Court has ruled that firearm ownership is a basic right,not a privilege,thus striking a blow for freedom,albeit barely.The voting should have been 9-0 in favor of upholding the Constitution.This ruling essentially overturns edicts by cities such as Washington,DC from banning gun ownership.The gun control and anti firearm groupts seem to have been dealt a serious setback,and those of us that own and use our guns in a responsible and law abiding manner have gained a victory.Expect the Left to go into convulsions about this event,and try every move,legal and otherwise,to continue to deprive free men of their right to self defense and freedom.
