someone plopped a lot of money (or combined pool) on Saphire Ridge causing his odds to go to even money and Engage up to 7-2

Engage 3 min- 8/5 Saphire ridge 8/5
2 min .............9/5.................... 8/5
1min............... 2...................... 3/5
combined pool.. 7/2 ...................1-1

Pha 2nd

mucho x factor horses in here--

Transposed-shipper won easy first at Pha, over head last out
Benedict-good speed, excellent works off the layoff
Blame Geoffery- Haw shipper, trainer 21% 1st claim(14), trainer/jockey 08' 5-2-1-1
Ondale-best of Pha horses

asH

pha 3rd- Safebreaker has good speed, jocks should know by now (as yesterday) to reserve a little for the stretch. Safe breaker should get an easy lead, depending on Mello (Zim). Mello may choose to press the mistake prone Rodriguez..cool heads prevail.

asH
06-24-2008, 01:27 PM
Pha 3rd- Safebreaker- thats what happens when a jock doesnt allow a speed horse his proper pace. Rodriguez slowed the pace to that of the closers, who then have the advantage of running late in the stretch.

asH
06-24-2008, 01:45 PM
Pha is a difficult track only because most jocks there lack a racing IQ...trainers too for using some of these jocks.

Betting public is now betting the horses who tend to come off the pace, but until now we havent seen a jock who could take advantage of an easy early pace scenerio.

Zeal Power- I dont know to much about the jock Cruz, Seeger 22% trainer has used him 7 times this year , in sprint races Cruz appears to be a good gate rider.

I shudda known that was coming:rolleyes: ..the day I said Samyn should retire, he won with a $100 horse:D then again with a few more long ones after...the racing gods have their favorites.

Baltimore Raven reared in the paddock,

asH

Flores probably lost both mounts in that race, Six Peeks and with Lake Scott.

Six Peeks best speed

Pha 8ththis is a jockey's race, no real advantage to any though Really Indeed would be my favorite, Live By Request has to show me. Interesting horse is Seewalds Little Cheyenne (http://little%20cheyenne/)/Cohen Aug 11 is an eye opener , I like the works, dont like that he's in at 16K.

wonder if Vaders would voluntarily go without meds?
