only one with any racing sense was Marino, Alvarado backed down from Ramos and lost all hope to place; have you ever seen a horse back out of a 21 4/5 pace to come again. Alvarado, neither had a contingency plan, nor did he read the form correctly, there were no real closers in the race so going after it early would have been best.

Pha 8th- Cohen and Vega will attemp to get their horses pace, Vega is good at judging pace, I dont believe Lezcano (boy wonder) can close on the top two unless these two vets go crazy.

Pha 9th- we'll see what kind of jock Alvarado is, speed horse who cant get the distance at 6 f. Ungorgetable Gal has been in tougher last 3 times (I like). Mariano on a speeder will go.
